Twenty volunteers from IAG/State, organised through Volunteer Wellington, planted 460 shrubs on a hillside overlooking Seton Nossiter Park. Included in the count were 200 northern rata donated by Project Crimson. The volunteers also moved 15 cu. m of mulch, a Herculean effort.
Nine volunteers from Kiwibank worked in the morning at the Jay St Community Nursery, potting up several hundred seedlings before moving onto Cashmere Home for the afternoon. At Cashmere Home, they helped the residents with their nursery. Well done, Kiwbank, and thank you to Volunteer Wellington for arranging this.
