Channel description:
I'm in Aotearoa New Zealand. I'm an amateur drummer, mostly uploading DrumFuckery videos these days as I attempt to recapture my love of cymbals, drums and drumming from youth in the 1970s and 80s (in my late 50s in 2022). With encouragement and emotional support from a couple of very good and like-minded friends in another city, I've been accumulating drum gear madly since around when Covid-19 first hit. This has provided a Necessary Distraction, and I call the spending my Mental Health Budget. I'm self-employed, and the pressure of running a small business these days requires a bolt-hole.
Hey I know my drumming isn't up to the very high standard of most YouTube drum content, but these DrumFuckery clips are really just my diary of ideas, progress, and new (old) gear I acquire. (Most clips are link-only, just a few are public.) I hope people get this, and don't think I'm trying to put myself up there with the many fantastic players we all enjoy viewing online. Thank you for watching.
[There are various clips of my punk/post-punk band Condenser - CondenserNZ on Facebook - playing live and in the practice room. If you keep scrolling down there are various slip from my paranormal interest group Strange Occurrences.]
